Welcome to OAZA MIRA Laze! If you are not fond of the overcrowded Croatian tourist cities we are your perfect tourism location where you will have a peaceful, relaxing and memorable vacation. Our mission is to offer you the true meaning of vacation. Peace, security, relaxation & freedom are what we want you to experience in Laze.
We are located in the heart of Slavonia which is Eastern Croatia. Although Eastern Croatia has been overlooked for too long by tourists, its rich gastronomy and breathtaking nature is finding its place on the tourists' maps. If you want to experience beautiful, untouched and peaceful nature, Laze is your go-to vacation home.
The property was acquired in 1930s and the ownership was kept by the Babic family for almost 100 years. The house where you will be staying was built in 1962. But throughout last 6 years it has seen a complete renovation to suit the needs of modern times. The estate was completely renovated during the span of full 6 years (2018-2024) and it now features modern amenities and comfortable furnishings to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Laze is an old & small Croatian village situated nearby the city of Nova Gradiska. First records of Laze go back to the 17th century and show multiple families living in the village during the Austria-Hungary Empire. Throughout the history, the area was inhabited by army soldiers and warriors protecting the borders of the Austria-Hungary Empire and later Croatia. Thus the name of the village football club "Granicar" (border protector).
At the peak of its expansion, the village had around 500 inhabitants. However, today there are only about 200 left. Every year in June, the village organizes the Memorial Sokoli which celebrates the lives of the war veterans that died protecting this region of Croatia during the Homeland War.
FC Granicar competes in the lowest league of Croatian football. One of the brightest moments of the football club was in 2007 , when due to the 14th anniversary of the Memorial Sokoli, the village hosted DINAMO ZAGREB. Dinamo Zagreb came with the best players: Luka Modric, Eduardo da Silva, Sammir, Vedran Corluka and many others.

*** Upon request we can turn 1 couch in the living room into 2 more sleeping spaces. So, the max amount of people in the house can be 10.

*** Upon request we can turn the couch in the living room into 2 more sleeping spaces. So, the max amount of people in the apartment can be 4.
Note: Whether you rent the whole estate, only the house or only the apartment you will always be the only guests at the estate, meaning it CANNOT happen that we rent the apartment or the house to different guests.

Free Wifi & Parking
Stay connected with our free wifi throughout the vacation estate. Have your cars safely parked on the property for no charge. The parking can accommodate 8 cars. There is 1 parking space covered under roof.
Entertainment
Enjoy TV channels with big selection of sports (Premier League, Croatian League etc.) or Netflix on our 4 smart TVs. You can also play video games on the PlayStation 4 which includes 4 controllers. If you are a fan of real games, you will love the professional darts board, table tennis, or chess. Your children can enjoy mini table tennis and board games.
20m2 Private Heated Pool
Enjoy the comfort of a heated pool with your friends and family throughout your vacation. The pool also features lights for night swim and built-in benches to enjoy the water even while sitting. If you prefer sunbathing, you will find comfort on our high-class pool lounge chairs.
Outdoor Activities
Enjoy eating fresh food prepared on our huge wood bbq place.
Play football on the 300m2 football field with artificial grass.
Stay warm and have fun at our built-in firepit with seating for 10 people.
Spa Activities
Stay healthy by using the brand new Infra-red Sauna which has multiple health benefits.
Use our home-gym which consists of brand new equipment such as a 2.5HP treadmill, seated bicycle, dumbbells and floor mats.
Music & Party
If you and your company love to get loud sometimes, do not worry. You can get as loud as you want in the "konoba", placed right next to the bbq and Football field. Konoba is a separate room size of 32m2 which features 2 big tables, A/C, TV, large refrigerator and sofas. All this time you can enjoy playing music on our wireless Sony BlueTooth speaker.
